PDI Now Offers Customer Relationship Management Services
MINNEAPOLIS - (August 18, 1999) - Personnel Decisions International (PDI), a Minneapolis-based human resources and management consulting firm, today announced the expansion of its consulting services to help clients manage and improve their customer relationships.
The expansion, which takes the form of a new business division called Customer-Centered Solutions, is a result of PDI's recent acquisition of QI International, a St. Paul-based customer relationship management firm.
"One timeless challenge our clients face is motivating and enabling employees to react to customer needs," said Ken Hedberg, president and COO of PDI. "While PDI has always offered people-oriented business solutions, this acquisition enables PDI to offer customer-focused solutions and link the two."
The tools and services offered by Customer-Centered Solutions promote employee and supplier commitment for strengthened customer relationships. Two such tools are the Customer Review process and TALK2®.
The Customer Review captures the voice of a company's key customers by collecting timely and actionable feedback that can be used specifically to manage accounts and identify new business opportunities.
TALK2 focuses on gathering employee feedback and using it to contribute to the company's overall business plan. This process identifies cost-saving methods, new business opportunities and improved customer service. Also, it helps build stronger relationships between managers and employees, which increases employee retention.
"Companies that attract, select, develop and retain the best talent and properly use that talent to build strong customer relationships will create a distinct competitive advantage," said Hedberg. "PDI helps companies get there."
