PRESENTATIONS
A FRESH, FOCUSED APPROACH
MINNEAPOLIS (April 2003) During the past 25 years, David Lee has helped over 30,000 professionals speak with impact. Now he shares his proven approach in Presentations: How to Calm Down, Think Clearly, and Captivate Your Audience, published by Personnel Decisions International.
"Many individuals find that they need to give presentations more frequently as they move into leadership roles,” said David G. Lee, Executive Consultant at PDI and co-author of Presentations. "Even if presentations are infrequent, they are high impact communication opportunities. We designed the book so that individuals at all experience levels will find tips, tools, and strategies that measurably improve their presentation skills."
“People don’t realize how many opportunities they have to make presentations,“ added Kristie Nelson-Neuhaus, co-author. “When they think of a presentation, they picture someone standing at a lectern giving a formal speech. We define presentations more broadly to include all opportunities to shape and exchange information. “
In an era of information overload, clarity counts. So does an original approach. “We’re writing for people who need to deliver a clear message in a memorable way. They want to do more than click and talk. They want to persuade, recommend, inform, sell, inspire, motivate, encouragein other words, they want people to take action.”
Lee and Nelson-Neuhaus take a fresh approach to a classic topic. Whether people want to learn the basics or make their presentations more strategic, they will find what they’re looking for in Presentations.
