Time2Change
Measure the Success of HRD Programs
MINNEAPOLIS (Aug. 21, 2002) Personnel Decisions International (PDI) today introduced Time2Change™, a new HR product that measures the effectiveness of development initiatives and assesses an organization's development climate. These short, multi-rater surveys are tailored to measure specific areas an individual has targeted for development and can be implemented after training, coaching or other development interventions, to measure the degree of performance improvement. The surveys also include questions to measure aspects of the organizational culture that promote or inhibit development.
"Organizations spend big money on developing employees, but most of the time they can't directly link those investments to improved performance on the job," said Dianne Nilsen, Ph.D., director for PDI. "This product creates accountability for development, measures performance improvement and provides the organization with information about how it can better support individuals in their development."
Time2Change™ can be used to measure the impact of development initiatives, such as 360° feedback implementations, training programs, developmental assessments, and coaching. Using a Web-based system, participants select items that best represent their development goals. The resulting questionnaire is completely tailored for each individual, measuring his or her development progress.
